- Piping bag
- Mixer or Whisk
- 227 g Unsalted butter
- 438 g Confectioners' sugar
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Milk or water
- ⅛ tsp salt
- Combine the butter and sugar in a large mixer bowl and mix until smooth
- Add salt
- Add the vanilla extract and water or milk and beat for an additional 3 minutes or until smooth and creamy
- Pipe the frosting onto the cupcakes
