  • 227 g Unsalted butter
  • 438 g Confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Milk or water
  • tsp salt


  • Combine the butter and sugar in a large mixer bowl and mix until smooth
  • Add salt
  • Add the vanilla extract and water or milk and beat for an additional 3 minutes or until smooth and creamy
  • Pipe the frosting onto the cupcakes
