Melting moments biscuits

  • 350 g Icing sugar
  • 750 g Butter, at room temperature
  • 250 ml Eggs
  • 850 g Flour
  • 150 g Cornflour
  • chopped cherries (optional)


  • In a stand mixer bowl, cream the butter and icing sugar using the paddle/flat attchement until light and fluffy.
  • Slowly add the eggs until well combined to the butter mix. (Take note not to over mix.) approximately 1 minute.

  • In a large bowl, sift together the flour and cornflour. Slowly add to the mix until the flour is well incorperated into the batter and has formed a soft dough.
  • Fit a pastry bag with a star nozzle (or nozzel of your choice). Pipe the batter evenly onto a greased baking tray. Place 1/4 cherries on top of each piped biscuit.

  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown


Pipe the batter at least 1 inch apart.
Try to pie evenly so that the biscuits can bake for the same duration.
Serving suggestions
Sift a little bit of icing sugar once the biscuits are cool.
